About Scouting for Food
Every November, Scouting units across the Aquia District collect food for local pantries. Our scouts tag neighborhood doors with collection bags, then staff a storefront drive where they greet shoppers, collect donations and sort food for delivery.
In 2024 our scouts tagged about 426 homes with collection bags.
Storefront shifts are a great first service project for new scouts.
Donations are sorted and delivered to local food pantries.
