About Campsgiving

Campsgiving started in 2023 and has run every November since. Scouts camp on our charter partner's field, and each patrol plans, shops for and cooks its part of a full Thanksgiving-style feast: turkey, sides and Dutch oven desserts.

Patrols plan the menu and the cooking schedule at PLC.
Turkey, stuffing, sides and cobblers cooked over stoves, fires and Dutch ovens.
Skills time between meals: fire building, hiking and orienteering on the IWLA grounds.
Families are welcome to stop by for the feast.
